We are Adi and Jac Pinkerton – and our children, Oscar and Annabel – first-generation oyster farmers drawn to the rhythm of the tides and a simpler, more grounded life.

Sandingroove began over 15 years ago as a leap of faith – a desire to build something lasting, honest, and deeply rooted in the place we call home. With no lineage in farming, only a deep respect for nature, a love of saltwater and a relentless pursuit of quality, we set out to grow oysters that reflect the purity of their origin and the pride of their custodians. Every harvest deepens our connection to, and teaches us more about, this extraordinary stretch of coast.
